samia ahad

Founder & Culinary Director

After trading her business suit for a chef’s jacket in 1991, Samia earned a Blue Ribbon at New York’s prestigious Institute of Culinary Education. 

In 2001 she founded Coriander Leaf in Singapore, motivated by her desire to share both traditional and modern interpretations of Asian dishes. 

She’s also a cookbook author: Simply Samia was published in 2008 and is still a classic. 

These days, you’ll find her leading culinary team building experiences and mentoring the team. 

rajeev panjwani

Chief Executive Officer

A hospitality veteran, Rajeev joined the Coriander Leaf Group in 2015 after launching and successfully operating many F&B concepts in the Middle East, Australia and Southeast Asia. 

iskander latiff

Executive Chef

After spending a decade overseas sharpening his skills and knowledge of Asian food, Iskander went on to win Channel News Asia “The Perfect Meal” in 2010. 

In 2015 he joined as Executive Chef to play a hands-on role in the continuous refinement and development of Coriander Leaf’s menus. 

These days, you’ll find him developing new recipes or as a celebrity chef judge on many MediaCorp programs.
